ISAPS COURSE Barcelona 2018

We are very happy to announce the first Official Instructional Course of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) organized and held in Spain. We have devoted a 2-day intensive programme to Patient Safety, Prevention and treatment of Complications. One of the main goals of ISAPS is to promote patient safety in Aesthetic Surgery through the education of its members and its main mission Aesthetic Education WorldwideTM.

Since nowadays many surgeons claim themselves to be plastic surgeons or cosmetic surgeons, we, as board-certified plastic surgeons need to be to the utmost level of accountability regarding patient safety and ethics. Complications can always occur in Aesthetic Surgery as in any medical specialty but through proper training and education it can be minimized, prevented and properly managed for the benefit of the patients.

The program proposed for this Course will cover all areas with regards to patients’ selection, prevention and management of unfavourable results and any kind of potential complication.

Submission of papers related to the topics of this ISAPS Course are encouraged and will be considered for presentation in the round tables, provided that they fulfil certain requirements.

The ISAPS Professors confirmed as Faculty members are leaders in their field and with vast experience, which makes them absolutely suitable for this event. We have no doubt that we will learn a lot from them and from the discussions that we hope they will arise from the different topics.
